RBSE Class 11th Physics Syllabus
RBSE 11th Class English paper carries a total of 100 marks, divided across four main sections. It is important for students to understand the marking scheme as it helps in knowing how much to focus on each part and prepare accordingly.
Among all, Textual Questions carry the highest weightage with 46 marks. This makes thorough reading of both Hornbill and Snapshots textbooks crucial. The Writing section, worth 18 marks, tests the student’s ability to express ideas clearly through letters, reports, or articles, making regular writing practice equally important. Grammar and Reading Comprehension carry lower marks but require daily practice to build a strong command over structure and understanding.
This balanced distribution ensures that students are assessed not just on memory but also on application, creativity, and critical thinking. Here is the RBSE 11th Class English Syllabus 2025-26 Marking Scheme:

Here are some preparation tips to prepare for the RBSE 11th Class English Exam 2026:
You should begin your preparation by solving at least one unseen passage every few days. This builds your comprehension skills and helps improve your ability to interpret, infer, and understand vocabulary in different contexts. This will help you score better marks in this section.
Grammar is considered the easiest by the students, but it carries 16 marks. You must understand the grammar concepts like determiners, tenses, modals, and prepositions thoroughly. Practice with short exercises and worksheets regularly so that these concepts become easy during the exam.
Understand the formats of formal letters, articles, reports, and speeches. Practice writing within the word limit (100–120 words) and ensure clarity, coherence, and proper structure. Stick to the tone expected in each format whether it is formal or informal.
Both Hornbill and Snapshots are core to the English syllabus. Read each chapter carefully, note character traits, themes, and literary devices, and practise all the textbook questions, especially short and long answers.
Solving past papers is one of the best ways to test your knowledge. It will help you understand the exam pattern, difficulty level of questions and help improve time management. Focus on common topics that appear frequently in board exams.
