The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially declared the Class 12th results for the academic year 2026. This year, approximately 24.91 lakh students appeared for the Intermediate examinations held across the state.

The results and the merit list were announced during a press conference at the board's headquarters in Prayagraj on April 23, 2026. The authority has informed regarding the UP Board Class 12th Result Topper List 2026 after the results. It includes the information related to the top-scoring students in class 12th with their marks are  Shikha Verma (97.60%), Nandani Gupta (97.20%), Shriya Verma (97.20%), Surbhi Yadav (97%), and Puja Pal (97%).

UP Board Class 12th Topper List 2026 will include the names and marks of the top-scoring students in the Class 12th examination.

UP Board Class 12th Result Statistics

UP Board Class 12th Result Statistics has been updated to the students on the result announcement. It is expected that around 24 lakh+ students have appeared for the Class 12 board examination. The pass statistics along with the topper information has been informed to the students after the official declaration of the result. 

Overall Pass Percentage: The board recorded an overall pass percentage of 80.38% for the Intermediate examinations.

Total Registered Students: A total of 24,79,352 students registered for the Class 12 exams this year.

Students who Appeared: Out of the registered candidates, approximately 23,53,352 students actually appeared for the exams, as about 1.26 lakh students skipped the papers.

Gender-wise Performance: * Girls: Maintained their traditional lead with a significantly higher pass percentage (historically ranging 6–10% higher than boys).

• Boys: Recorded a competitive pass rate, contributing to the overall 80.38% success threshold.

Evaluation Efficiency: The evaluation of nearly 3 crore answer sheets was completed in record time between March 18 and April 4, 2026.

Passing Criteria: To be declared successful, students were required to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject and in the overall aggregate.

Institutional vs Private: Institutional (regular) students generally saw a slightly higher success rate compared to those appearing as private candidates.

Division Statistics:

• First Division: Awarded to students scoring 60% and above.

• Second Division: Awarded to students scoring between 45% and 59.99%.

• Third Division: Awarded to students scoring between 33% and 44.99%.
