Qualifications requirement for BSEB D.El.Ed 2026

To qualify, candidates from the unreserved category must secure at least 35% marks, while those belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories need a minimum of 30%. During registration, applicants from the general, EWS, BC, and EBC categories must pay ₹960 as the application fee. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the fee is ₹760.

Applicants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks. A relaxation of 5% is available for reserved and PwD candidates. The board has specified that qualifications like polytechnic and ITI will not be accepted for DElEd admissions, except for candidates who have completed vocational Class 10+12, Madhyamik, or Intermediate examinations. The minimum age required is 17 years as on the first day of the admission year.

Final admission will be based on a merit list prepared by combining entrance test scores with the institutional preferences submitted by candidates.

BSEB D.El.Ed 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Students who have cleared Class 12 or an equivalent exam with at least 50% marks can apply for the DElEd entrance test. 
• A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is offered to reserved category and PwD candidates.
• Urdu candidates who have passed the Maulvi exam, considered equivalent to Class 10, with 50% marks are also eligible.
• Students appearing in the Class 12 board exam 2026 may apply, but their admission will be confirmed only after they meet the required marks.
• Candidates with qualifications such as polytechnic or ITI are not eligible, except those who have completed vocational Class 10+12, Madhyamik, or Intermediate exams.
• The minimum age for applicants is 17 years as on the first day of the admission year. The final selection will be based on a merit list combining entrance exam scores and the institutional choices submitted by candidates.
