To qualify, candidates from the unreserved category must secure at least 35% marks, while those belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories need a minimum of 30%. During registration, applicants from the general, EWS, BC, and EBC categories must pay ₹960 as the application fee. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the fee is ₹760.
Applicants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks. A relaxation of 5% is available for reserved and PwD candidates. The board has specified that qualifications like polytechnic and ITI will not be accepted for DElEd admissions, except for candidates who have completed vocational Class 10+12, Madhyamik, or Intermediate examinations. The minimum age required is 17 years as on the first day of the admission year.
Final admission will be based on a merit list prepared by combining entrance test scores with the institutional preferences submitted by candidates.
