Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2023: The dates for the Chhattisgarh elections were published by the Election Commission today. Rajiv Kumar, the chief election commissioner, announced during a press conference that Chhattisgarh will hold two rounds of voting on November 7 and 17.

The deadline to submit nominations for Chhattisgarh's first round of voting is October 20. By October 23, candidates may withdraw their nominations. The deadline for submitting nominations for the state's second round of assembly elections is October 30, and candidates have until November 2 to withdraw their names from consideration.

The date for the Chhattisgarh Assembly Election in 2023 has been made public by the Indian Election Commission. Bhupesh Baghel is the state's chief minister, and the Congress currently holds power in the state. The main opposition group in the state is the BJP. The majority threshold in the Chhattisgarh assembly is 46 seats out of a total of 90 seats.

29 seats are designated for STs, and 10 seats are designated for SCs. In the most recent assembly election, the BJP only secured 15 seats, compared to the 71 seats gained by the Congress. The popularity of CM Baghel will be crucial for the Congress in the poll, but the BJP is likely to place a significant wager on the Modi Magic to wrest back the state from the Congress party.
