The candidates will be chosen based on how well they did on the personality test. The commission may conduct an online or offline screening test or preliminary exam in the event that a substantial number of applications are received. Thus, there will be two phases to the choosing process.

HPPSC Veterinary Officer Exam Pattern 2023

• An online or offline screening test will be held.
• For the computer-based version of the test, objective questions will be included, and for the offline version, objective/descriptive questions.
• If several choices are selected or incorrect answers are provided, a quarter of a mark will be deducted.

HPPSC Veterinary Officer Paper II

A descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) of three hours duration having 120 marks as per the syllabus to be decided by the Commission from time to time.

• Minimum passing marks (UR): 35%
• Minimum passing marks (reserved): 30%
