PUMDET Counselling 2024 Round 1 Allotment
The results for the 1st round of allotment will be announced on a predetermined date. Allotment Announcement The first round of allotment will be declared on a pre-scheduled date. Allotments are based on the information provided by the candidate. The allotment or admission will be cancelled if eligibility is found lacking upon scrutiny. Seat Acceptance Fee A seat acceptance fee of ₹1000/- must be paid online (via Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, online banking, etc.) and the allotment letter should be downloaded. The fee will be transferred to the University. Failure to pay the fee will cancel the allotment and disqualify from future rounds, if applicable. The fee is refundable/adjustable (refer to the Refund and Withdrawal Policy). Provision for Upgradation If a candidate is allotted their first-choice subject, they must complete admission formalities, and their subsequent choices will be cancelled. They must opt for "No Upgradation" and complete all procedures. If allotted their second-choice subject, they may opt for "Yes Upgradation" to be considered for their first choice in future rounds or "No Upgradation" to finalize admission without further consideration. Issuance of New Admission Letter If upgradation occurs, a new admission letter will be issued in exchange for the previous one. Category Change Consideration If a reserved category candidate’s allotment is cancelled in Round 1, their candidature will be considered under the general category in subsequent rounds.Round 2 Counselling
WBJEEB will conduct a second round of PUMDET Counselling 2024 based on any residual vacancies on the pre-scheduled date. Upgradation Policy : If a seat is upgraded in Round 2, the earlier allotment will be cancelled, and the seat will be reallocated to other deserving candidates based on merit. The candidate cannot revert to their previous allotment. If no upgrade occurs, the earlier seat will remain reserved. Fresh Allotment in Round 2: Candidates who receive a new allotment in Round 2, having had no allotment in Round 1, must:- Pay the seat acceptance fee of ₹1000/- online and download the allotment letter. The fee will be transferred to the University. Failure to pay the fee will result in cancellation of the allotment and disqualification from future rounds.
- Please report to the University with the allotment letter and all required documents for verification and admission. Failure to report will result in the cancellation of the allotment and disqualification from future rounds.

- PU Quota : Applicable to students who completed their final BA/BSc honors degree from Presidency University in 2023, based strictly on merit.
- Non-PU Quota : Admission is based on the rank obtained in PUMDET 2023. Any vacant PU quota seats will be transferred to the non-PU quota.
- Counseling Schedule : Candidates must attend counseling on their assigned date and time. No alternate dates or times will be allowed.
- In-Person Appearance : Candidates must appear in person; no representatives are allowed for the counselling and admission.
