The overall pass percentage for the West Bengal Higher Secondary (Class 12) results this year stands at 90.79%.
The Science stream recorded the highest success rate at 99.46%.
The Commerce stream followed with a pass rate of 97.52%,
While the Arts stream had a pass percentage of 88.25%.
Out of 4,73,919 students who appeared for the Class 12 exams, 4,30,286 successfully cleared them.
A total of 1,659 students scored above 90%.
When broken down by gender:
Male students achieved a pass percentage of 92.3%,
While female students recorded a pass rate of 88.18%.
Hooghly district emerged as the top-performing region, contributing 14 students to the state’s merit list.
Kolkata also showed a strong performance, with four students making it into the top 10 ranks.
In total, 72 students secured positions in the top ten merit ranks, showcasing exceptional academic performance in this year's HS results.
Additionally, all 4,73,919 students who took the exam were regular candidates, indicating a high level of participation in the 2025 session.
