The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has warned candidates about a fake Telegram group named ‘BPSC PATNA’ that has been spreading false information among those awaiting the 71st CCE final answer key.
The Commission said the group has circulated tampered OMR sheets from the 71st Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination, falsely claiming that results and marks can be changed for money. The matter surfaced after several complaints and reports were received through email and social media.
In its official notice, BPSC stated, "It is hereby clarified that the above message is completely fraudulent and part of a criminal conspiracy to mislead candidates and extort money from them. The Commission has repeatedly cautioned candidates to remain alert and beware of such fraudulent activities."
BPSC has declared that the claims of result manipulation are baseless and criminal in nature. It has urged aspirants not to engage with such groups and to rely only on verified updates through its official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in. The Commission further emphasised that no private individual, messaging channel, or third-party platform is authorised to share examination-related information or influence recruitment in any way.
BPSC has reaffirmed that its examination process is conducted with complete confidentiality, leaving no scope for outside interference in evaluation or selection. The Commission urged candidates to stay cautious and rely only on official sources to avoid becoming victims of fraud.
The final answer key for the 71st CCE 2025 has already been issued, with five questions removed from each set. Candidates were allowed to download their OMR sheets from the official site until November 8. The result, based on the final key, will be declared soon.
Reiterating its commitment to a fair process, BPSC said the entire evaluation and selection system is conducted with transparency and confidentiality. It advised candidates to stay vigilant and avoid anyone offering undue advantages or making false promises.
