Here are the complete list of documents aspirants must have before filling the BPSC 72nd Application form 2026:
To apply for BPSC 72nd:
You must have completed graduation from a recognized university.
The university may be government, deemed, or any recognized institution.
At the time of application, at least your graduation marksheet must be available.
If you are in the final year (appearing), you cannot apply.
These documents are required because:
Your date of birth is verified from the 10th certificate.
Age eligibility is determined through these documents.
Both must be available at the time of application.
Since graduation is the minimum qualification, candidates must also keep 12th certificate and 12th marksheet. These are part of the academic record verification process.

Reservation benefits in BPSC are available only to candidates who are residents of Bihar. If you are from another state and apply for BPSC, you will be treated as an unreserved candidate.
To claim reservation benefits, you must provide a Valid Bihar domicile (residential) certificate. Without domicile proof, reservation benefits cannot be claimed.
For SC/ST Candidates:
Caste certificate
Bihar domicile certificate
For OBC Candidates:
Caste certificate
Bihar domicile certificate
Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate
If a general category candidate wants to claim EWS benefit, a valid EWS certificate must be submitted.
Candidates applying under the Persons with Disabilities category must submit a valid PwD certificate. Only then will age relaxation and other benefits be applicable.
Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age (General): 37 years
Category-wise age relaxation available
No restriction on number of attempts (within age limit)
Appearing candidates are not eligible
