Candidates must attend the official MPSC ASO exam. The Registration link is available on the official MPSC website to start the application process.
To create an account, fill out the registration form with your name, mobile number, and email address.
Use the login information you created during registration, which includes your password and email address or phone number, to access your account after registering.
Candidates must use the Commission's computer system to submit their online applications for the Maharashtra Group-B Services Combined Preliminary Examination.
Within the allotted time, upload the required documents and submit the application. Make that the Commission's online system is used for both the examination fee payment and the district centre selection.
Through the payment gateway offered by the State Bank of India, candidates can pay the exam fee using a credit card, debit card, or net banking. As an alternative, the price may be paid offline within the allotted period by cheque at any SBI branch. Before the deadline, make sure the fee payment is processed correctly.

There are two phases to the MPSC ASO Recruitment 2024 syllabus:
Preliminary Exam
General Studies: Emphasises geography, history, economics, current events, and general knowledge.
Mental Ability: Consists of logical reasoning, reasoning, and quantitative aptitude.
Mains Exam
General Studies: Covers in-depth subjects such as Maharashtra's development, the Indian economy, politics, and environment.
English and Marathi: Grammar, understanding, and language skills.
Subject Optional: Depending on the topic selected from the MPSC-provided list.
Candidates must meet all of the MPSC ASO Eligibility Requirements listed in the original announcement. If the eligibility standards are not met, the individual will be disqualified. Candidates must also possess adequate documentation to support their eligibility for positions as MPSC Assistant Section Officers. The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible for the MPSC ASO 2024 exam:
The applicant must be a graduate student at an accredited university with a degree in any field.
The applicant needs to grasp the fundamentals of the Marathi language.
As of February 1, 2025, candidates for the position of MPSC Assistant Section Officer must be between the ages of 18 and 38.
For SC/ST candidates, the upper age restriction is loosened by five years, while for OBC candidates, it is loosened by three years.
The selection procedure determined by the authority will be followed in the MPSC Assistant Section Officer recruitment. The following steps will be included in the overall selection process for MPSC Assistant Section Officer positions:
The initial step in the selection process is the MPSC ASO Prelims exam. One hundred multiple-choice questions from the General Ability area make up this test. One score is awarded for each right response, and 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect response. The exam lasts for one hour in total.
There are two papers on the MPSC ASO Mains test. While Paper 2 concentrates on subject-specific knowledge, Paper 1 covers general knowledge, English, and Marathi. The Mains test has 400 total points, with one hour allotted for each paper.
Candidates must go through the Document Verification (DV) process after passing the preliminary and main exams. In order to verify their eligibility for the MPSC ASO position, candidates must present their original documentation at this step.
