For instance, a worker who receives an adequate income from their job will not have to worry about paying their rent or their children’s education, which decreases their mental pressure and increases satisfaction. Salary becomes even more important in high-cost countries, where without stable financial income, life is difficult. The average cost of living that is covered by salary can be considered a basis for satisfaction at a job.

Having a balanced daily or weekly routine that includes work and other important aspects of life brings a person peace of mind and contentment, which a higher salary sometimes cannot provide.
