Candidates receive a transcript with several missing words. After listening to a recording of 30–60 seconds, they must type the missing words into the appropriate gaps. This question type evaluates listening skills and the ability to recognise spoken words accurately.

Highlight Correct Summary

Candidates listen to a recording lasting 30–90 seconds and choose the option that best summarises its content. This task assesses both listening and reading abilities and requires identifying the main points conveyed in the recording.

Multiple Choice, Single Answer

In this question type, candidates listen to a recording of 30–90 seconds and select one correct answer from the available options. The task focuses on understanding the information relevant to the question being asked.

Select Missing Word

Candidates listen to a recording that ends with a beep and select the word or phrase that best completes the missing part. Understanding the context of the recording is essential for answering this question correctly.

Highlight Incorrect Words

A transcript is displayed on the screen while a recording of 15–50 seconds is played. Candidates must identify the words in the transcript that differ from the audio recording. This task evaluates listening and reading skills simultaneously.

Write from Dictation

Candidates hear a short sentence and must type it exactly as spoken. This task assesses listening and writing abilities and requires attention to spelling and word order.
