CG TET Exam Pattern 2026 Paper Wise 

CG TET 2026 Exam will be conducted in offline mode or pen and paper mode. It consists of a total of two papers which are- Paper I and Paper-II. In the year 2026, the examination will be held in two consecutive shifts, the first shift will be conducted for teachers of Class I to V and will be from 09:30 am to 12:15 pm and the second shift of the examination will be conducted from 02:00 pm to 04:45 pm for teachers of Class VI to VIII. CG TET Exam Paper I will last for a duration of 2.5 hours. It will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying a single mark. Importantly, there will be no penalty for incorrect answers or unanswered questions.

CG TET Exam Pattern 2026 Paper 2

CG TET Exam Paper II will also have a duration of 2.5 hours, mirroring Paper I. It will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying a weight of 1 mark. Importantly, there will be no deductions for incorrect responses or for leaving questions unanswered in Paper II. It is important to note that Mathematics and Science teachers are required to select Mathematics and Science as their subjects, while Social Science teachers are expected to choose Social Science as their subject on the question paper.
