CTET 2025: Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the CTET Notification 2025 soon. Typically, the CTET notification was released between January to March month. However, this year, the CTET notification release date has been pushed. As of now, there is no update about the opening of CTET registration 2025 but the same is expected to commence soon. The CTET examination is held to test candidates looking to work as Primary and Upper Primary Teachers.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2025 is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in government and private schools across India. CTET Notification Previous Years Statistics

The National Testing Agency is yet to release the CTET Notification for the July session. However, based on the last five years' stats, we can see that the notification for the CTET session was typically released from January to April months. For this year, the CTET 2025 notification is not yet out. Hence, with this, we can speculate that the notification PDF can be released in April or May month. However, this is purely tentative and candidates must keep a tab on the official website for the latest updates.

CTET Age Limit

As per the previous year CTET notice, the minimum age limit to apply for the exam is 17 years. However, there is no upper age limit for the candidates.

CTET 2025 Exam Pattern

CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) 2025 consists of two papers:

  • Paper 2: For candidates aspiring to teach Classes VI–VIII (Elementary Stage)

Both papers are conducted in offline mode (pen and paper), have a duration of 2.5 hours (150 minutes), and contain 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with no negative marking. Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
