DEE Assam Special Educator Eligibility

• Senior Secondary (50%+) with a 2-year Diploma in Special Education (RCI recognized).

• Ex-Servicemen: up to 42 years

• Comply with Assam’s Small Family Norms (max 2 children after 01/01/2021).

• Language selected in ATET/CTET must match the school’s medium of instruction.

Eligibility for UP Schools

The following are the eligibility criteria for candidates applying for UP Schools under the DEE Assam Special Educator Recruitment 2025:

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate (50%+) with B.Ed. (Special Education, RCI recognized).

• Must have passed ATET/CTET for Upper Primary Schools.

• Language I or II in ATET/CTET must match the school medium of instruction.

Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025):

• Unreserved: 18–40 years

• Ex-Servicemen: up to 42 years

• OBC/MOBC: up to 43 years

• SC/ST(P/H): up to 45 years

• PwD: up to 50 years

Other Conditions:

• Must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam.

• Ready to serve in the assigned district.

DEE Assam Special Educator Salary 2025

Selected candidates for Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) Schools will receive a salary under Pay Band-2, ranging from ₹14,000 to ₹70,000 per month, along with a Grade Pay of ₹7,400. 

In addition to the basic pay, candidates will receive allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical Allowance and other benefits as per the Assam Service (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2019.
