DSSSB PGT Selection Process 2025

DSSSB PGT Selection Process 2025 comprises two stages, including a Written Test and Document Verification. Candidates who are interested in participating in the DSSSB PGT Recruitment 2025. They have to appear for the selection process as mentioned in the official notification for Post Graduate Teacher recruitment. The Selection Process is one of the important pieces of information for every candidate to consider if interested in participating in the PGT recruitment. All the stages in the recruitment process are developed by the exam conducting authority to test the knowledge of students appearing for the exam. Every candidate who applied online and planned to participate in the DSSSB PGT Recruitment. They have to appear for the written test, followed by the document verification. No interview is for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers organised by the Delhi Subordinate Staff Selection Board. 

DSSSB PGT Written Test

DSSSB PGT Written Test is an online exam that comprises MCQ questions. Students have to appear in the first stage of the DSSSB PGT Recruitment 2025

• Around 300 objective-based questions are covered in the online test. 

• It is a computer-based test included in the DSSSB PGT Selection Process 2025.

• There is a combination of 300 questions covered from the General Aptitude section, including General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English, Hindi and Subject-Specific Knowledge. 

• Candidates who pass the written test can qualify to participate in the document verification round. 

• There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the CBT test for wrong attempts in the exam. 

DSSSB PGT Document Verification

The second stage in the DSSSB PGT Recruitment 2025 is Document Verification. Students who qualify for the Written Exam. They become eligible to participate in the PGT Document Verification round. Students are required to submit the original educational documents, proof of residence, and caste certificate to the exam conducting authority. Then, the authority will verify the authenticity of the documents submitted for verification. DSSSB PGT Document Verification process is completed. The qualified student's name will be listed in the merit list for the allotment. 

DSSSB PGT Merit List 

DSSSB PGT Merit List features the names of the candidates who qualified in the written exam. Students who meet the cut off marks. The names of the candidates based on the category are mentioned in the merit list. Then, they have to appear for the document verification round. DSSSB Post Graduate Teacher Merit List is an essential document released by the authority. It mentions category-wise marks scored by candidates, names, and roll numbers. DSSSB has decided on the minimum qualifying marks depending on the category. 

• General / UR / EWS: Minimum 40% marks

• OBC (Delhi): Minimum 35% marks

• SC / ST / PwBD: Minimum 30% marks

• Ex-Servicemen: 5% relaxation, but must score at least 30%
