- Subject Knowledge Test : If you pass the Screening Test, you will take a 3-hour descriptive exam worth 150 marks, making up 87.5% of the total marks. This test focuses on your knowledge of the subject.
- Interview : The final stage is an interview worth 12.5% of the total marks. It assesses your personality, teaching skills, and suitability for the role.

HPSC PGT Salary 2024 is based on the 7th Pay Commission guidelines. The pay scale is set at FPL 8, ranging from Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100. This includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), Medical Allowance, and other special allowances.
