MAHA TET Exam Date 2025 has been announced, and the exam will be held on November 23, 2025. The Maharashtra Teacher's Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) is conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE). The MAHA TET is for the recruitment of teachers for primary (Class 1-5) and upper primary (Class 6-8) levels. 

The exam consists of two papers on the same day. Paper 1 will be for primary teachers and Paper 2 for teachers of upper primary. The online application registration process will be run from September 15, 2025, to October 3, 2025. The admit cards will become available starting on November 10, 2025. The MAHA TET certificate is valid indefinitely. The MAHA TET certificate is required to be eligible to teach at a government school.

MAHA TET Exam Schedule 2025

The MAHA TET Exam Schedule 2025 will take place on November 23, 2025. The examination consists of two shifts. Students taking Paper 1 (who want to be primary teachers for teaching Classes 1 to 5) will take their exam from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM while students taking Paper 2 (for Upper Primary teachers for Classes 6 to 8) will take their exam from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM all on November 23, 2025. 

MAHA TET Exam Shift & Timing

The MAHA TET 2025 Exam is scheduled to be conducted in two shifts on November 23, 2025. The timing for each shift is as follows:

• Shift 1: 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM

• Shift 2: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM

Candidates will be allotted one of these shifts, which will be mentioned on their admit cards. It is crucial to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to complete the verification process and settle in calmly before the exam begins.

MAHA TET Exam Day Instructions

To ensure the exam proceeds smoothly and without issues, candidates should keep the following instructions in mind on the MAHA TET exam day:

• Carry a printed copy of the MAHA TET 2025 admit card and a valid photo ID proof. Without these documents, entry to the exam hall will be denied.

• Reach the centre at least 30 minutes early to avoid last-minute stress.

• Bring only permitted stationery items like black or blue ballpoint pens. Electronic devices, including mobile phones, calculators, and smartwatches, are strictly prohibited.

• Follow the instructions given by exam invigilators carefully.

• Maintain proper discipline and observe any health safety measures, if applicable.

• Candidates should revise their preparation but avoid starting any new topics on the exam day to keep calm and focused.

• No extra rough sheets will be provided; use the sheets given by the exam centre. Dispose of them as instructed after the exam.
