OTET Exam Date 2025 has been announced by the authority in the OTET 2025 Notification (short notice) itself. The Odisha TET exam will be organised on December 17, 2025. There are two papers, i.e., paper 1 and paper 2, on the same day. The exam duration is 2.5 hours for the two papers. The timing of paper 1 is 9 am to 11:30 am, and paper 2 is 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
The OTET Application Form is to be filled out online by the candidates. Candidates should meet the minimum eligibility requirements to fill out the form. The OTET entrance exam has been designed to test the knowledge and teaching aptitude of candidates in Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates who applied for classes 1 to 5 have to appear in paper 2. OTET Paper 1 Classes 1 to 5: Candidates get 150 teaching aptitude-related questions to solve in 2.5 hours.
OTET Paper 2 Classes 6 to 8: Candidates get the time of 2.5 hours to solve 150 questions related to language and teaching aptitude in the exam.
Each question carries 1 mark in the OTET exam.
The OTET consists of two papers:
