TNTET 2025: The Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 is an eligibility exam for aspiring teachers of Classes 1 to 8 in Tamil Nadu. It assesses candidates' knowledge and teaching aptitude required for recruitment in government schools. TNTET has two papers: Paper I for teachers of Classes 1–5 and Paper II for Classes 6–8. The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 3 hours. Qualifying for TNTET is mandatory for teacher appointment, but it does not guarantee a job.

TNTET 2025 Application Form
The Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 application is only available on the official website of the TRB (www.trb.tn.gov.in), which will open for submissions from 11 August 2025 till 8 September 2025 (5:00 PM). In addition, candidates will have an edit window from 9 to 11 September 2025. Each candidate must submit a separate application for Paper - I and Paper - II which means they have to pay the application fee separately too. For General and Others applicants, the application costs ₹600 and for SC, SCA, ST, PwD it is ₹300. This fee is to be paid only online by bank debit/credit card or net banking.
