Paper-I (Classes I-V)

Candidates intending to teach at the primary level (Classes I-V) must meet one of the following qualifications:

1. Senior Secondary Qualification :
   • Minimum 50% marks with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
   • Or, at least 45% marks with a Diploma in Elementary Education under NCTE regulations.
   • Or, 50% marks with a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
   • Or, 50% marks with a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
2. Graduation :
   • Graduate candidates with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education are also eligible.

Paper-II (Classes VI-VIII)

For candidates aiming to teach upper primary classes (VI-VIII), the following qualifications apply:

1. Graduation-Based Qualifications :
   • Graduation with 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
   • Or, 45% marks in graduation and a B.Ed. following NCTE regulations.
