UP Special TET Exam Date 2026 Out, Check Exam Schedule, Admit Card & Other Details

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, has released the UP Special TET 2026 notification under Advertisement No. 03/2026. As per the notification, the UP Special TET Exam Date 2026 is November 3, 2026. The online OTR/application process will begin on September 5, 2026, while the last date for payment of the online application fee is October 4, 2026.

The examination is being conducted for eligible teachers working at the primary and upper primary levels and Special Educators (CWSN), as specified in the notification. UP Special TET Exam Date 2026

UP Special TET 2026 is scheduled to be held on November 3, 2026. The OTR/online application process starts on September 5, 2026.

UP Special TET Exam Pattern 2026 

Under the UP Special TET Exam Pattern 2026, the examination is divided into Paper 1 and Paper 2 for primary and upper primary levels, respectively. Both papers consist of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks, with an exam duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. There is no negative marking in either paper.

UP Special TET Exam Paper 1 Pattern 

The UP Special TET Exam Date 2026 is November 3, 2026, while the UP Special TET Application Form 2026 process will commence on September 5, 2026 through OTR/online mode.

The UP Special TET Exam Date 2026 Paper 1 applies to the primary level examination for Classes 1 to 5. The paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks. The duration of the examination is 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes), and there is no negative marking.

The primary-level paper includes the following sections:

UP Special TET Exam Paper 2 Pattern 

The UP Special TET Exam Date 2026 Paper 2 applies to the upper primary level examination for Classes 6 to 8. Like the primary-level paper, it contains 150 MCQs carrying 150 marks and has a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. There is no negative marking.

For Mathematics and Science teachers, the 60-mark section is Mathematics/Science; for Social Studies or Social Science teachers, it is Social Studies. Other teachers can choose either option as specified in the notification.

UP Special TET Exam City 2026

The examination centres will be determined at district headquarters, as required. Candidates may be allotted any examination centre. The notification states that information about the district of the examination centre will be provided 10 days before the examination date. Information about the specific examination centre will be available 3 days before the examination through the admit card.

Candidates must appear only at the examination centre allotted to them. No change of examination centre will be permitted.

UP Special TET 2026 Exam Centres

The Commission will determine the UP Special TET 2026 Exam Centres at district headquarters according to requirements. Candidates can be allotted any centre, and the centre details will be communicated separately.

Candidates should carefully check the centre mentioned on their admit card and appear only at the allotted centre.

UP Special TET Admit Card 2026

The UP Special TET Admit Card 2026 will be available through the Commission's official website once the download notice is issued. Candidates will have to download the admit card from www.upessc.up.gov.in by clicking the “Admit Card Download” option and entering their registration number/mobile number and date of birth.

The admit card will contain important examination details, including the examination centre. Candidates who are eligible for the written examination and whose examination date has been fixed will be able to download and print their admit card.

UP Special TET Exam Date 2026: Important Exam Instructions

Candidates appearing for the examination should keep the following instructions in mind:

• The examination will be of 150 minutes.

• There will be 150 multiple-choice questions.

• Each question will carry 1 mark.

• There will be no negative marking.

• The question paper will be available in Hindi and English, except for language subjects.

• Candidates must appear at the centre allotted by the Commission.

• Candidates must carry a black ball-point pen for marking the OMR sheet.

• Other coloured ball-point pens, fountain pens, gel pens, sketch pens, HB pencils and whitener are prohibited for the OMR sheet.
