UTET 2024

UTET 2024: The Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education has released the UTET 2024 Notification online. The notification for Uttarakhand TET 2024 for Paper I and Paper II can be checked online at uktet.com. The UTET Online Form 2024 commenced on July 21, 2024. Candidates who qualify for the examination will be awarded the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) Certificate that comes with a lifetime validity. The result has been released on December 12, 2024, for the exam conducted on October 26, 2024.

UTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for the examination have to qualify for the UTET Eligibility Criteria 2024 as mentioned in the section below.

UTET Age Limit 2024

There is no age limit to apply for the UTET 2024 Examination. However, the candidate’s minimum age is not less than 18 years.

  • Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year
  • Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year
  • Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
Upper Primary Teacher
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).
  • Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of
  • 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year

UTET 2024 Application Form

UTET Application Form has been released online by UBSE. Candidates aspiring to apply for UTET Paper I/II can complete the application form from 23 July, 2024 onwards. The application form has to be completed online before the last date. Those candidates who qualify for the UTET Age Limit and Educational Qualification will be allowed to appear for the examination.

UTET 2024 Application Fee

The UTET Application Fee has to be paid by the candidates for papers separately or for both examinations. The board has announced the category-wise Uttarakhand TET Application Fee that has to be paid online.

UTET 2024 Exam Pattern

  • The Uttarakhand TET Exam has been held in pen and paper mode
  • There is no negative marking for the written exam
  • The exam is going to have multiple choice-based questions and one option has to be marked by the candidate
  • The question paper has been released in both Hindi and English language
  • UTET Exam duration has been 2 hours and 30 minutes and 30 minutes extra has been given to visually impaired candidates.

UTET 2024 Minimum Qualifying Marks

UTET Minimum Marks are the lowest marks that candidates need to score to get selected for the examination. The authorities have prescribed the Uttarakhand TET Minimum Marks for different categories. As per that, candidates who belong to unreserved and OBC categories need to score 60% marks. Those who are from the SC/ST categories have to score 55% marks to clear the examination.
