Note: Candidates with a Master's Degree in Geography (with specialization in Population Studies) are also eligible to appear in the subject "Population Studies."

Rajasthan SET Exam Pattern 2026

Understanding the examination pattern is important for effective preparation. The examination consists of two papers conducted in a single session without a break. 

Important points:

• Both papers contain objective-type MCQs.

• All questions are compulsory.

• There is no break between the two papers.

• The total examination duration is 180 minutes.

• Paper 1 assesses teaching and research aptitude.

• Paper 2 evaluates subject knowledge.

Rajasthan SET Marking Scheme

Candidates must understand the evaluation process before attempting the examination. The marking structure is as follows:

• Each question carries 2 marks.

• Every correct answer receives 2 marks.

• No negative marking is applicable.

• Unanswered questions receive no marks.

• If a question is dropped by the authority, marks are awarded according to the official rules.
