NTA Opens UGC NET December 2025 Form Correction Window Till November 12

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the UGC NET December 2025 correction window today, November 12. Candidates who have registered can make corrections by visiting the official website — ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The correction facility will remain open until 11:50 PM.

As per the official notice, no further changes will be allowed after the deadline, and any additional fee, if required, must be paid online through credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.

What details can the candidate modify ?

During this correction period, candidates can modify certain details such as:

• Date of Birth

• Category (UR, SC/ST, OBC, etc.)

• Parents’ details
  These changes are crucial as errors in them may impact a candidate’s eligibility or merit.

What details cannot be edited ?

Here are the, the following fields cannot be edited, so whenever you fill be cautious. 

• Name

• Gender

• Photograph & Signature

• Mobile Number

• Email ID

• Permanent and Correspondence Address

• Exam City

  UGC NET December 2025: Steps to Edit Application Form

  Candidates who wish to correct details in their UGC NET December 2025 application can do so by following these steps:

  1. Go to the official UGC NET website — ugcnet.nta.nic.in 

  2. On the homepage, click on the link for UGC NET December 2025 Correction Window.

  3. Log in using your application number and password.

  4. After logging in, your application form will appear on the screen.

  5. Review all details carefully and make the necessary changes.

  6. If required, pay the applicable correction fee.

  7. Submit the updated form and download

For corrections in non-editable fields, candidates must contact the NTA helpdesk directly.

The upcoming UGC NET will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, consisting of two objective-type papers. The total duration will be three hours, with no break between the papers.

NTA has urged all applicants to review and verify their application details carefully to avoid any disqualification or issues during the later stages of the admission or selection process.
