3. Candidates in the final year of their Master’s degree or awaiting results can also apply, provided they achieve the required marks within two years from the date of the SET result.

4. Candidates with a Ph.D. whose Master’s degree was awarded prior to 19 September 1991 are eligible for a 5% marks relaxation.

5. Candidates must apply in the subject of their post-graduation. Applicants whose subject is not offered in WB SET must opt for the UGC NET or the Joint CSIR-UGC examination instead.

WB SET Nationality 2025

WB SET Nationality parameters require a candidate to be an Indian citizen.
