UPSC Cut Off Tie Breaker

Sometimes, the marks of two or more candidates might be the same which may cause issues in preparing the merit list and UPSC cut off. To resolve this, a tiebreaker formula is used by UPSC in the cases of equal aggregate marks in the Civil Services Examination (CSE). This formula is as follows:
