Note I: There is a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the Centres, except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur.

• Log In: Access your account using your registration details after the admit cards are released for the 2025 exam.
• Download UPSC Prelims Admit Card: Your exam centre information will be mentioned on your UPSC Prelims admit card, which you can download once it's released.

Guidelines to Change UPSC Prelims Exam Centre

• Visit the official website at 'upsc.gov.in', where a window to change the exam centre will be available.
• The UPSC will provide a toll-free number (1800118711) and email facility (upsc[at]nic[dot]in) to facilitate the process of changing the prelims exam centre.

Instructions to Follow at the UPSC Prelims Exam Centres 2025

To ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience on the exam day, candidates must strictly adhere to the guidelines laid out by UPSC. These instructions are designed to maintain fairness, order, and security at exam centres across the country. 

• Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
• Bring your admit card, a valid photo ID, and preferably two passport-size photos.
• Electronic gadgets, smartwatches, calculators, and any study material are strictly banned.
• Use only a black ballpoint pen for the OMR sheet; no extra paper is allowed.
• Follow your assigned seat and room number strictly; do not switch without permission.
• Cheating, disruptive behaviour, or violating instructions can lead to disqualification and future debarment.
• Do not leave before time; submit your OMR sheet and exit calmly when instructed.
