APPSC AE (Assistant Engineer) Eligibility 2025 relates to two aspects: the recruitment conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to fill the 166 Assistant Engineer (AE) vacancies for various departments of the state government, Civil, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, and Electrical engineering disciplines, all engineering graduates.

This is a state-level examination to appoint qualified engineering graduates in the technical departments of the government to the following departments: Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Power, Urban Development, and Hydro Power Development.

Eligibility variables include only the educational qualification and age limit factor. The recruitment process for AE's will be split into steps. The first step in the selection process is a recruitment test (based on the number of candidates). The second step will include a Main examination and may be followed by a Viva-Voce (interview). Recruit test scheduled for June 27, 2025; Main Exam scheduled on September 6–7, 2025 (tentative).

To be eligible to apply for APPSC Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2025,  general candidates must be born on or after January 1, 1989, and APST candidates must be born on or after January 1, 1984, with relaxations applicable for PwBD and other government servants, which will be governed by the rules of Arunachal Pradesh. The recruitment has 166 vacancies across various departments.
