Educational Qualification

Steps to Apply Online:

Register on the respective portal: NAPS at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/ or NATS at https://nats.education.gov.in/.

Complete the apprenticeship registration by clicking on the 'Register' tab. Upon online registration, the applicant will receive an automated registration number on their email ID

For NAPS applicants: After online registration, go to the 'Apprentice Opportunity' tab, select the establishment CENTRAL COALFIELDS LIMITED (E02182000001), and apply for the relevant trade before October 24, 2025

CCL Apprenticeship Selection Process 2025
The selection process will commence after October 25, 2025.
Selection Criteria

Trade Apprentice (NAPS): Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the mandatory qualification (as per the tables).

Technician & Graduate Apprentice (NATS): Selection will be based on the process determined by the NATS portal. The decision of BOPT (E.R.), Kolkata, regarding selection will be final.
Priority in Selection
Preference will be given to the following candidates:

Applicants who have passed from institutions located in
Jharkhand. -
Members of a
Project Affected Family (PAP). -
Employee Ward (Employee wards and PAP will be considered in the same category).
Document Verification
Selected candidates will be informed only via their registered email to appear for document verification at MTC, HRD Office, Darbhanga House CCL. Candidates must present their original documents (High School Certificate, ITI Certificate, essential qualification mark sheet, caste certificate, Aadhar card, Aadhar-linked bank account, etc.) at the time of verification.
CCL Apprenticeship Stipend and Training
Monthly Stipend
The stipend rates are determined based on the Government of India's Gazette Notification (686-E) dated 25.09.2019
- ITI Trades: Rs 7,000 per month.
- Associate Legal Assistant: Rs 9,000 per month.
- 10th/12th Fresher Trades (15 months): Rs 7,000 (1st year) and Rs 7,700 (2nd year).
- 10th Fresher Trades (2 years): Rs 6,000 (1st year) and Rs 6,600 (2nd year).
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Rs 8,000 per month.
- Graduate Apprentice (Degree): Rs 9,000 per month.
