Candidates willing to apply for Junior Site Engineer positions announced by Deendayal Port Authority must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Essential Qualifications
- Full-time regular B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks from an AICTE/UGC recognized University / Institute.
- Post qualification experience of two years in the supervisory cadre in the relevant discipline in an industrial/commercial / Govt. Undertaking.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit of candidates should not exceed 30 years as on 1st January 2025. The age relaxation to reserved categories is applicable as follows:
- 1) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe: 05 years
- 2) OBC (NCL): 03 years
Deendayal Port Authority Jr. Site Engineer Selection Process
Selection of the candidates will be made from the merit list prepared based on the final percentage of marks obtained in the respective educational qualification required for each discipline, i.e., Degree in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, experience possessed by the candidate, and marks obtained in the Personal Interview. The merit list preparation, the weightage of stages is as under:
- Educational Qualification: 50 marks
- Experience: 30 marks
- Personal Interview: 20 marks
- Total Marks: 100 marks
