Following the release of the official notification for UPPSC AE Recruitment 2024-25 , the online application process commenced on 17th December 2024 to 17th January 2025 at uppsc.up.nic.in.

UPPSC AE Eligibility Criteria 2025
The UPPSC AE Eligibility Criteria 2025 has been specified by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. Candidates aspiring to apply for Assistant Engineer posts must fulfill the requisite eligibility criteria to participate in the recruitment process. To be eligible for the post of Assistant Engineer must possess a Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in the relevant engineering disciplines and be aged between 21 to 40 years.
Those who fit the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities will be appointed as Assistant Engineer in various reputed departments such as U.P. Jal Nigam, Public Works Department (P.W.D.), Irrigation and Water Resources Dept., Housing and Urban Planning Dept., Industrial Development Dept, Rural Engg. Department, Agriculture Department, etc.

UPPSC AE Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the basic qualification for UPPSC AE as follows:
- A B.E./B.Tech. degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Agricultural Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
- Alternatively, candidates must have an Associate Member who passed sections 'A' and 'B' examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) in relevant disciplines.
Note: Candidates who are appearing in the examinations of essential qualifications are not eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Engineer in UPPSC.
UPPSC AE Age Limit (as on 01.07.2024)
Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be more than 40 years as on 1st July 2024. They must have not been born earlier than 2nd July,1984 and not later than July 01, 2003.

UPPSC AE Age Relaxation
The recruitment authority will provide relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to reserved categories. Age relaxation to a certain year beyond the maximum age limit is applicable as under:
