Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by IBPS.
Interview marks are considered for preparing the final merit list.
Candidates must produce all required original documents during the interview and document verification process.
The final selection of candidates is based on their performance in the Main Examination and Interview. You must qualify both stages to be considered for provisional allotment.

80% weightage to the Main Examination
20% weightage to the Interview
Candidates with higher combined scores are considered for provisional allotment based on merit, bank preferences, reservation guidelines, and the number of vacancies reported by the participating banks.
After the interview process is completed, IBPS prepares the final merit list and provisionally allots selected candidates to one of the participating public sector banks.
The provisional allotment is made on the basis of:
Final merit
Candidate's bank preference
Reservation policy
Administrative requirements
Actual vacancies reported by participating banks
You cannot request a change in the allotted bank after the allotment process is completed. The provisional allotment is also subject to document verification and fulfilment of all eligibility conditions prescribed by the participating bank. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India according to the bank's requirements.
