ICAR AIEEA PG Recruitment 2025: The ICAR AIEEA PG 2025 is an entrance exam, conducted by the NTA, at the national level for admission into postgraduate programmes in various fields of agriculture and allied sciences. Candidates should have completed a 4/5/6 year bachelor’s degree in a related field with 60% marks (50% marks for reserved categories), and should not be less than 19 years of age on or before August 31, 2025. The exam for this year will be conducted online on July 3, 2025.

ICAR AIEEA PG Recruitment 2025 Overview

The ICAR AIEEA PG 2025 is an entrance exam, conducted by the NTA, at the national level for admission into postgraduate programmes in various fields of agriculture and allied sciences. The exam for this year will be conducted online on July 3, 2025. The exam paper will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 2 hours. The scoring system awards +4 marks for a correct answer and -1 marks for an incorrect answer. Applications will be accepted online until June 5, 2025.

Steps to Apply for ICAR AIEEA PG Recruitment 2025

• Go to the official site (exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR or icar.nta.nic.in) and register by submitting the required basic information. You will receive a system-generated application number and password to the email ID and mobile number you provided during registration.

• Log in with your application number and password and fill out the application form. Be careful to fill in your personal, academic, and contact details accurately. Select the preferences for your exam city.

• Upload the scanned copy of your photo, signature, and any other certificate as per the specifications of format and size.

• Pay the application fee online using a Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. 

• Upload scanned images of your photograph, signature, and supporting certificates in the specified format.

• Check all the entered details before final submission.

• Submit the application form.

• Take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.

• If you realize that you need to change specific information on this application form you may do so during the correction window June 7-9, 2025.

ICAR AIEEA PG Application Fee 2025

Candidates need to pay the ICAR AIEEA PG Application Fee online using a Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. The application fee will differ. For General- INR 1300, OBC/EWS - INR 1255, SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender - INR 675.

ICAR AIEEA PG Eligibility 2025

To be considered for the ICAR AIEEA PG 2025, candidates must be a national of India and at least 19 years old as of 31st August 2025. Applicants should need a four, five or six-year degree in the relevant discipline (B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Tech., B.V.Sc. & AH, etc.) from a recognized university, with at least 60% marks for General, OBC, UPS, and EWS categories, and at least 55% marks for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. 

Candidates who are in their final year of study can apply provisionally, but they must meet all the requirements at the time of admission. Generally, three-year bachelor's degrees are not accepted unless it is in conjunction with some of the ICAR-Deemed Universities.

The syllabus for ICAR AIEEA PG 2025 will be based on the subject picked by the candidate and will include core topics from their undergraduate degree. 

• It will use core and applied concepts from their studies in, for example, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Sciences, Fisheries, Agricultural Engineering, Home Science, and related disciplines.
