ICAR AIEEA PG Recruitment 2025: The ICAR AIEEA PG 2025 is an entrance exam, conducted by the NTA, at the national level for admission into postgraduate programmes in various fields of agriculture and allied sciences. Candidates should have completed a 4/5/6 year bachelor’s degree in a related field with 60% marks (50% marks for reserved categories), and should not be less than 19 years of age on or before August 31, 2025. Candidates need to pay the ICAR AIEEA PG Application Fee online using a Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. The application fee will differ. For General- INR 1300, OBC/EWS - INR 1255, SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender - INR 675.
To be considered for the ICAR AIEEA PG 2025, candidates must be a national of India and at least 19 years old as of 31st August 2025. Applicants should need a four, five or six-year degree in the relevant discipline (B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Tech., B.V.Sc. & AH, etc.) from a recognized university, with at least 60% marks for General, OBC, UPS, and EWS categories, and at least 55% marks for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
Candidates who are in their final year of study can apply provisionally, but they must meet all the requirements at the time of admission. Generally, three-year bachelor's degrees are not accepted unless it is in conjunction with some of the ICAR-Deemed Universities.
The syllabus for ICAR AIEEA PG 2025 will be based on the subject picked by the candidate and will include core topics from their undergraduate degree.
It will use core and applied concepts from their studies in, for example, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Sciences, Fisheries, Agricultural Engineering, Home Science, and related disciplines.
The syllabus addressed the candidate's knowledge on common topics, i.e., genetics, plant breeding, soil science, agronomy, plant pathology, entomology, agricultural economics, and extension, and questions in the exams were intended to measure conceptual understandings, analytical capabilities, and practical application of the disciplines.
