You must prioritize the high-weightage topics and practice previous year papers to analyze your strengths and weaknesses. Here are the comprehensive last-minute preparation tips to aid the preparation of aspirants.

• Focus On Revision - In the final days of the preparation journey, students must focus on revising the entire syllabus; don’t start a new topic. Utilize your short notes, formula sheet, and flashcards to revise quickly. Especially focus on core Agriculture subjects as they carry a weightage of 100 marks. Allocate at least 3 to 4 hours to the Agriculture section and 1 hour to other subjects to make effective revision.

• Don’t Begin New Topics - The IFFCO Syllabus is extensive and it requires enough time to cover and revise. Candidates are advised not to pick any new topic during the final days. Revise only those portions that you have already covered.

• Practice PYQs and Mock Tests - The exam tests the conceptual knowledge of aspirants across core agriculture subjects, general aptitude, reasoning, communication skills, and general awareness. Solve last year’s question papers and mock tests to become familiar with the difficulty level, trends of questions, and key focus areas.

• Time Management & Speed - Candidates will have to solve 150 questions in 45 minutes. So, they must maintain good time management and speed to attempt all the questions within the allotted time with good accuracy. Don’t get stuck on any particular question for a long time. If you are not confident, then leave the questions and mark for review later if time permits. Start with easy questions and finish them in 10 minutes, allocate 25 minutes to solve moderate questions and devote the last 10 minutes for challenging and marked for review questions.

• Revise Key Subjects - Analyze your core subjects knowledge and focus on revising the key subjects to strengthen your concepts. Don’t take any section lightly; equally focus on all subjects, especially Agronomy, Horticulture, Soil Science, and Current Affairs related to Agriculture. Also, you should not neglect the Reasoning, General Awareness, and Numerical Ability to maintain your overall score.

• Try to Attempt Maximum Questions - The exam has no negative marking for wrong answers, so candidates must solve the maximum questions, maintaining a good speed. Due to no penalty for incorrect attempts, it is advantageous to aspirants.

• Exam Day Strategies - Be mentally ready for the examination, don’t study too much on exam day. Keep your essential particulars such as admit card, passport-size photo, and ID proof documents. Ensure your laptop/system is in good working condition, as the exam is being conducted in an open environment with your own laptop and internet connection.
