Bank Holidays in June 2024: According to the Reserve Bank of India Holiday Calendar 2024, private and public sector banks will remain closed for a total of 10 days in June in various parts of India. Especially if you have a bank job in June, you should keep the check the same to avoid any last-minute hassles. The 10-day holiday in June includes national and regional holidays and Sundays, the 2nd and 4th Saturday.

Bank Holidays vary from state to state, but generally, all banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. In addition, they celebrate three public holidays: Republic Day (January 26), Independence Day (August 15), and Gandhi Jayanti (October 2). Banks also remain closed during local festivals. June 17: Banks remain closed for Bakri Eid across India except Mizoram, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh.
June 18: Banks are closed at Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha) in Jammu and Srinagar.
