Bank of Baroda Apprentice Selection process 2026, Online Exam and LPT

Bank of Baroda has released the BOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification (BOB/HRM/APPRENTICE/ADVT/2026/01) for 5,000 apprentice vacancies across various states and union territories in India. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official Bank of Baroda Careers portal within the application window from May 19, 2026 to June 8, 2026.

The selection process will include an online examination, document verification, and a local language proficiency test. Candidates who are selected will undergo a one-year apprenticeship training program under the bank.

1. Online Examination: The initial phase consists of a computer-based assessment that tests candidates across various subjects, such as General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, and English Language. Candidates need to prepare thoroughly in these subjects to progress to the subsequent stage.

2. Document Verification: Candidates who succeed in the online examination will be invited for document verification. At this point, applicants are required to submit the necessary documents to verify their eligibility, educational background, and identity.

3. Local Language Proficiency Test: In the concluding phase, candidates need to demonstrate their proficiency in the local language of the state they applied to. This requirement ensures that chosen candidates can effectively engage with customers in their designated regions.

The exam assesses candidates on subjects crucial for banking roles: General/Financial Awareness (including banking awareness and current affairs), Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude (arithmetic, logical reasoning, data interpretation), Computer Knowledge (basic computer operations, MS Office, cybersecurity), and General English (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension).

• Mode of Bank of Baroda Apprentice Exam will be conducted in Hindi and English.

• Candidates will have a total of 60 minutes to complete the exam.

• The BOB Apprentice exam consists of 100 questions divided into four sections.

• There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

1. Printout of the Bank of Baroda Apprentice Call Letter 2026.
2. Legitimate system-generated printout of the online application form submitted for the recruitment process.
3. Evidence of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate issued by the relevant Authorities or SSLC/ Std. X Certificate displaying DOB).
4. Photo Identification Proof as described in Point 8) of this notification.
5. Mark sheets or certificates related to educational qualifications. An appropriate document from the Board / University confirming the result declared on or before 01-01-2025 must be submitted.
6. Caste Certificate issued by the appropriate authority in the mandatory format as required by the Government of India for SC / ST / OBC category candidates. Candidates who belong to the OBC category but fall under the creamy layer and/or if their caste is not listed in the Central List are not eligible for OBC reservation. They should select their category as General in the online application form.
7. Candidates requesting a reservation under the OBC category must submit a declaration in the required format stating that they do not belong to the Creamy Layer. If they are called for an interview, they should provide an OBC certificate containing the 'Non-creamy layer' clause, issued between 01. 04. 2024 and the date of the interview.
8. The EWS candidates must present for verification the ‘Income and Asset Certificate’ issued based on gross annual income for the Financial Year 2024-25, following current Government guidelines.
