IBPS RRB Clerk Selection Process 2025 includes two stages, Prelims and Mains, without any interview round for clerical posts. The official notification was released on 31st August 2025, and online applications are open from 1st to 21st September 2025. The Preliminary Exam will be held on 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th December 2025, while the Mains Exam is scheduled for 1st February 2026. IBPS RRB Clerk Exam Stages 2025

There are only two stages in IBPS RRB Clerk recruitment: Prelims and Mains examination. Candidates must first clear the Prelims, then qualify in Mains to get selected as a Clerk in Regional Rural Banks. Both stages test speed and accuracy in different subjects. No other tests or interviews are part of Clerk recruitment.

IBPS RRB Clerk Prelims and Mains Process

IBPS RRB Clerk exam has two stages: Prelims and Mains, both are held online with multiple-choice questions. The Prelims includes 80 questions from Reasoning and Numerical Ability, to be solved in 45 minutes. Those who clear sectional and overall cutoffs in Prelims can appear for the Mains exam, which has 200 questions from five subjects and is held for 2 hours. Marks scored in Mains determine the final merit list, and there is negative marking of 0.25 for wrong answers. There is no interview round after Mains for Clerk posts.

IBPS RRB Clerk Final Selection Criteria

The final selection for IBPS RRB Clerk 2025 is based only on Mains exam marks. Prelims is just qualifying and does not count for the final merit. Reservation rules and state-wise/category-wise vacancies are also considered.
