IBPS RRB PO Selection Process 2025: The official notification for the IBPS RRB Recruitment 2025 (क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंक) was announced on August 31st for 13217 posts, and the online application window took place from September 1st to September 21st, 2025. IBPS RRB PO 2025 Prelims and Mains Exam Dates have been released, along with the IBPS Calendar 2025. IBPS RRB PO Prelims Exam will be scheduled for November 22nd and 23rd, 2025. IBPS RRB PO Mains will be held on December 28, 2025.
IBPS RRB PO recruitment stages 2025 comprise three Phases– Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview Round. Candidates who qualify Preliminary exam will appear in the Main exam. They have to score the minimum required cutoff in the Preliminary exam to be eligible for Mains. The final merit list will be declared after the IBPS RRB PO Interview. It is important to note here that IBPS RRB PO Preliminary Exam scores are not taken into account while making the final merit list. Only the scores of the Main Exam and Interview, in the ratio of 80:20, determine the final selection of candidates. IBPS RRB PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
The IBPS RRB Preliminary examination will be conducted online, and candidates will have a total of 45 minutes to complete it. The exam consists of two sections with a combined total of 80 questions, carrying a maximum score of 80 marks. It's important to note that for every wrong answer attempted, 0.25 marks will be deducted as a negative marking. The IBPS RRB PO Mains 2025 exam provides candidates with a total of 120 minutes to complete the test. This examination is divided into five sections, comprising a total of 200 questions. A total of 200 marks is the highest possible score. IBPS RRB PO Interview
After successfully clearing the RRB PO Mains exam, eligible candidates are invited by IBPS for the Interview round. This crucial stage carries a weightage of 100 marks. To qualify for this IBPS RRB PO final selection round, candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks, while for those belonging to ST/SC/OBC/PWD categories, the qualifying percentage is slightly lower at 35%. Documents Required for IBPS RRB PO Interview 2025
Candidates must produce the following documents in original and their self-attested photocopies in support of their eligibility for IBPS RRB PO 2025- IBPS RRB PO Online Application Form
- Date of Birth Proof
- Photo Identity Proof
- IBPS RRB PO Admit Card
- Graduation Mark-sheets/ Degree/ Certificates or equivalent qualification results dated on or before August 2025
- Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Government of India. The caste certificate of the OBC category must indicate that they belong to the non-creamy layer.
- Income and Asset Certificate issued by competent authorities of the Government of India in the prescribed format for EWS category candidates.
- Disability certificate in the prescribed format issued by the District Medical Board for PWD category
- In case the candidate has used the services of a Scribe then duly filled-in details of the scribe in the prescribed format has to be produced.
- Ex-serviceman candidates have to produce a copy of the Service or Discharge book along with a pension payment order and documentary proof of rank held.
- Candidates presently serving in defense have to submit a certificate from a competent authority that they will be relieved from the services on or before August 2025.
- Candidates serving in Government/quasi-government offices/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions are required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer.
- Persons eligible for age relaxation as Jammu and Kashmir domiciled must produce the domicile certificate
- Persons eligible for age relaxation as 1984 riots must produce a certificate from the District Magistrate certifying the same.
