LIC ADO Eligibility Criteria 2024: The largest insurance company in India at the moment is Life Insurance Corporation of India which was established in the year 1956, it is a state-owned Insurance Group and Investment Company of India (LIC). Numerous departments within LIC employ thousands of people nationwide, and they play a significant part in developing the national economy. The candidates who are eligible for recruitment are categorized into three categories, namely: (a)LIC agent category, (b) LIC employee category, (c) Other category (Open market) and the eligibility criteria are based on the following:
- Educational Qualification
- Age
- Experience
- Number of attempts
LIC ADO Eligibility Criteria - Educational qualification
- For the LIC Employees and LIC Agents categories in both urban and rural areas, applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from an Indian university that has been authorized by law or that has been established for the purpose, or they must hold a Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India, Headquartered in Mumbai.
- An applicant from the Others category (Open Market) for employment as an Apprentice Development Officer, in both urban and rural areas, should have a Bachelor's degree from an Indian university that has been authorized or that has been recognised for the purpose, or they must be a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India, Headquartered in Mumbai.
Common instruction for all categories
- Candidates must make sure that their educational background complies with the requirements mentioned above and that they meet the mentioned eligibility criteria. No other educational background shall be accepted as qualifying.
- The Bachelor's degree mentioned here must have been received from a university, institute, or board that has been approved by the government regulatory agencies and is approved by the board of India. The results have to be made public by January 1, 2024, or earlier. At the time of the interview, the proper documentation from the Board or University must be shown proving that the results were announced on or before January 1, 2024. The passing date that is used to determine eligibility is the date that appears on the mark sheet or temporary certificate.
- The spouse of an agent is specifically prohibited from being recruited as an Apprentice Development Officer.
LIC ADO Eligibility Criteria - Age limit
A minimum age of 21 years as well as a maximum age of 30 years are specified as the age limits for LIC Apprentice Development Officers. For the position of LIC Apprentice Development Officer, applicants must be at least the required age.
