SBI CBO 2026 Exam Pattern
- The exam consists of 120 MCQ-type questions. Additionally, all these questions are available in two languages, i.e., Hindi and English.
- Further, candidates get 2 hours to answer all the questions and 30 minutes for descriptive examination. Therefore, they must practice solving questions in a time-bound manner during their preparation phase to improve their time management skills.
- The exam is held online. Therefore, candidates must consider taking multiple mock tests to familiarise themselves with the exam environment.
- Candidates get 1 mark for each correct answer. However, for each incorrect answer, 0.25 points are deducted. So it is recommended that candidates participate in test series to enhance their speed and accuracy.

Candidates are asked to write essays and letters during the 30 minutes SBI CBO Descriptive exam. The Letter Writing and Essay section of the test will include one question, with each question worth 25 marks for a total of 50 marks.

SBI CBO Screening 2026
The second stage in the SBI CBO Selection process is the SBI CBO Screening Test 2026. The Screening Committee constituted by the Bank will examine whether the candidates fulfil the required eligibility criteria of experience. The Committee will match the job profile submitted by the candidates (certified by their existing/ previous employer(s) with whom they are/were employed) with the job profile of Scale-I Generalist Officer of the State Bank of India. In case their job profile does not match substantially or is different than the job profile of Scale-I Generalist Officer of State Bank of India, then the application of the candidate will be summarily rejected.SBI CBO Interview 2026
