SBI Clerk 2025 Tie-Breaking Policy
State Bank of India has a parity policy which is used when two or more candidates score the same marks in the exam. SBI Clerk 2025 Tie Break Policy is briefly discussed below.

What After SBI Clerk Prelims Result 2025?

Qualification for SBI Clerk Mains Exam: Candidates who pass the prelims exam are shortlisted for the SBI Clerk mains exam to be held on 10th April 2025. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not considered for the final merit list.
SBI Clerk Mains Exam: The SBI Clerk Junior Associate mains exam is conducted to assess candidates' knowledge in various subjects. It consists of four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The exam carries a total of 200 marks.
Local Language Test: After clearing the mains exam, candidates must appear for a Local Language Test. This test is mandatory for candidates who have not studied the local language in their 10th or 12th standard.
Final Selection: The final selection is based on the performance in the mains exam and qualifying for the local language test. A provisional merit list is prepared state-wise and category-wise.
Wait List: A wait list of up to 50% of vacancies is maintained state-wise and category-wise.
Probation Period: The total training duration of an SBI Clerk is six months. The probationary period for SBI clerks begins with induction training at the State Bank Institute of Learning and Development.
