SIDBI Grade A and B Syllabus 2025

Small Industries Development Bank of India has announced a total of 76 Grade A and B (General & Specialist Stream) posts. As per the recruitment drive, candidates will be selected based on their performance in Phase 1, Phase 2, and the Interview round.

SIDBI Grade A and B Exam Pattern 2025

Aspiring candidates need to appear in the SIDBI Grade A and B Phase 1 and Phase 2 exams to get selected for Grade A and B (General & Specialist Stream) posts. SIDBI Grade A Phase 1 Exam Pattern 2025 (For All Streams)

  1. There are objective questions in the exam.
  2. The sections included in the SIDBI Phase 1 Exam are Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and more.
  3. The SIDBI Grade A exam is conducted for a total of 200 marks, with a duration of 120 minutes (2 hours).
  4. In the objective sections, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
  5. The subjects English Language, Reasoning Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge are considered qualifying and do not count towards the final score.
  6.  Candidates are shortlisted for Phase 2 based on their performance in General Awareness, MSMEs, and the Stream-Specific Test. Additionally, the descriptive test, which carries 50 marks, is conducted on a computer

The SIDBI Phase 2 Exam Pattern 2025 is identical for both Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ (General Stream) and Manager Grade ‘B’ (General Stream) positions. However, the question types and difficulty levels differ between the two grades.

English Language: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Error Spotting, Fill in the Blanks, Para Jumbles, Sentence Rearrangement, Idioms & Phrases, Synonyms & Antonyms.

Reasoning Ability

  • Verbal Reasoning: Syllogism, Blood Relations, Coding-Decoding, Directions & Distances.
