
CSEET October 2026 has an important announcement from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). CSEET October 2026 important announcement is for eligible ICSI members who want to work as General Observers. Interested members must apply through the ICSI Observer Portal.
Applications sent through any other mode will not be considered. Members should also make sure that the email ID and mobile number in their membership records are correct because portal credentials will be shared through these details.
The applicant must be an ICSI member.
The applicant's age should be at least 25 years and not more than 65 years on the application date.
The applicant's ICSI membership should be more than three years old without any break.
None of the applicant's trainees or relatives, as defined by ICSI, should be appearing for CSEET October 2026 at the examination centre where the applicant wants to serve.
The applicant should not be appearing in any ICSI examination.
The applicant should not be a member of the Council, Regional Council or Managing Committee of ICSI chapters.
The applicant should not be connected with ICSI oral tuition classes for CSEET.
The applicant should not be associated with a private coaching centre or ICSI study centre conducting CS course classes.
The applicant should not be a Counsellor or CS Mitr of ICSI.
No disciplinary or criminal proceedings should be pending against the applicant in any court, tribunal or other authority in India or abroad.

Members who want to apply should complete the process within the given dates. Applications received after the closing date or through other methods will not be considered.
The General Observer empanelment is valid only for the session for which the member applies. Members must apply again for each CSEET examination session.
Eligible members appointed for General Observer duty will receive an honorarium of Rs. 1,400 per day. The announcement states that no other allowance will be payable.
However, empanelment does not guarantee the allotment of General Observer duty. The final decision about duty allocation will remain with ICSI.
