ICSI CSEET Examiner Empanelment 2026: Eligibility, Application Process & Official Notification

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has invited applications for the empanelment of examiners for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) from the June 2026 session onwards. Eligible professionals and academicians can apply by fulfilling the prescribed qualification and experience requirements.

ICSI CSEET Examiner Empanelment 2026 Official Notification

ICSI has invited applications from eligible professionals and academicians for empanelment as CSEET examiners from the June 2026 session onwards. Eligibility Criteria for ICSI CSEET Examiner Empanelment 

ICSI has prescribed specific qualifications and experience requirements for empanelment. Applicants should possess strong academic or professional backgrounds and relevant experience in teaching, practice, or examination-related work.

Professional Qualifications

Applicants may apply if they fulfil any of the following qualifications: 

• A member of ICSI, ICAI, or ICMAI with at least three years of membership.

• A postgraduate with at least second-class marks in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accounts, Business Management, Business Administration, or Business Law.

• A PhD holder in any of the relevant disciplines.

• A candidate with a Master's degree in Business Communication, which may receive additional preference.

Experience Requirements

Preference may be given to applicants who have: 

• At least three years of teaching, academic, or professional experience.

• Experience as an examiner, moderator, paper setter, or head examiner.

• Written books, study material, or professional publications.

• Industry experience related to the CSEET subjects.

Age Limit for CSEET Examiner Empanelment

The preferred age range is 28–65 years. However, ICSI may grant relaxation of 3–5 years to experienced ACS/FCS members with substantial answer-book evaluation experience.

The CSEET examination covers subjects that test your understanding of communication, accounting, business laws, and the economic environment. These areas are designed to build the foundation required for the Company Secretary profession. The examiner panel is constituted to evaluate answer scripts across these subjects.

Candidates already working as examiners for ICSI are not required to apply again.

Important Conditions and Restrictions for ICSI CSEET Examiner

ICSI has laid down certain restrictions to preserve the integrity of the examination system.

• Applicants should not be associated with coaching institutes for CA, CS, or CMA examinations.

• They should not provide private tuition.

• Individuals having any conflict of interest with the examination process are not eligible.

• Empanelment does not guarantee allocation of evaluation assignments.

• Examiners are required to maintain complete confidentiality regarding assigned work.
