The National Testing Agency (NTA) will convert the raw marks obtained by candidates in different shifts or sessions of a multi-shift paper into NTA Scores (percentiles). For subjects conducted in multiple shifts, NTA Scores will be calculated corresponding to the raw marks of each candidate. These calculated NTA Scores for all shifts will be combined for further processing in deciding the allocation. In case the percentiles for the multi-shifts differ, the lowest percentile will serve as the eligibility cut-off for all candidates, irrespective of their shift. For example, if 40% marks correspond to a Percentile Score of 78 in Shift 1 and 79 in Shift 2, all candidates with a percentile of 100 to 78 in both shifts will be considered eligible in the General Category. This method will be applied to determine eligibility cut-offs for other categories as well, regardless of the number of shifts held.
