There are specific requirements for candidates to be eligible to appear in the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TN SET) for Mathematical Sciences Examination 2024. The primary criteria include having a Master's degree in Chemistry or related subjects from a recognised university. To be eligible, candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master's Degree or equivalent examination from UGC-recognized universities/institutions. However, for candidates belonging to the SC/SC(A)/ST/PwD/Third Gender category, the minimum required marks are 50%. Candidates who are currently pursuing their Master's degree or equivalent course, or those whose results are awaited, can apply provisionally. They must complete their Master's degree within two years from the date of the TN SET result with the required percentage of marks. For candidates who completed their Master's Level examination before 19 September 1991 and hold a Ph.D. degree, the aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in TN SET have been relaxed by 5%. Lastly, candidates with post-graduate diplomas/certificates awarded by foreign universities should verify the equivalence of their diplomas/degrees/certificates with Master's degrees of recognized Indian universities from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi (www.aiu.ac.in).TN SET Mathematical Science Exam 2024 Age Limit
