

TN TRB Assistant Professor Syllabus 2025 is intended to evaluate specific areas of competence, such as subject knowledge, research potential, and proficiency in Tamil as a language for recruitment in government colleges in Tamil Nadu. There are two papers for the exam: Paper I has 150 MCQs, and Paper II is a descriptive test.
The topics for both papers are at the postgraduate level, but Paper I also has general topics such as the Indian Constitution, Economy, History, Environment, Science (like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), and Current Affairs. Part A of Paper I will address questions in the Tamil language, and Part B will address questions in the subject chosen by the candidate.

Objective Section (MCQs): 1 mark for each correct answer.
Descriptive Section: 10 marks for each answer (students will need to answer any 5 out of the total 8).
