CPET 2025 PG Admission application forms for admission in colleges/universities in Odisha were available from 10 March 2025 to 28 March 2025. CPET 2025 is a single common entrance examination for graduate students for admission in PG courses in Odisha. This examination is managed by the SSB, and the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha is the main conducting authority of this examination. CPET 2025 Admission Schedule was declared with the release of the initial information prospectus. Candidates should be aware that the application lines for applying to CPET 2025 have now closed. Additionally, the merit list for this examination was released on 2 June 2025, following the release of the examination results. Provisionally selected candidates in CPET still have a few time left for choice filling.
CPET PG Admission 2025 Overview
The choice filling process under CPET PG Admission 2025 has been continued till 8 June 2025, starting from 3 June 2025. Candidates who appeared in the merit list can proceed to fill out their choice of institution to pursue PG courses in Odisha. Candidates who have opted for multiple courses will be required to give preference to their choice of subjects also. Candidates who appeared in CPET PG 2025 from 4 May 2025 to 18 May 2025 must be aware of its timeline. A merit list of the selected students has already been released on 2 June 2025. CPET PG Admission Process and Counselling
As of now, selected candidates are supposed to be present in the seat allotment process under CPET PG Admission 2025 process. The counselling process started on 3 June 2025 after the release of the merit list of the CPET PG qualified students.
According to the official notification for CPET 2025 Admission Process, candidates will be given a maximum of 10 options or choices. In addition, they will be required to fill in a minimum of 5 choices. Further, during choice filling process, the students will be shown the previous year’s cut off marks set by a specific college/university. Candidates can fill out choices for the counselling process from 3 June 2025 to 8 June 2025.
After that the round 1 of the seat allotment process will be conducted on 13 June. The next round for the seat allotment process is scheduled for 23 June 2025. And, the final seat allotment round is expected to be conducted on 3 July 2025. It must be noted that the final admission and reporting are scheduled from 3 July 2025 to 8 July 2025. The classes for PG courses will begin on 10 July 2025 as per the official information by SAMS, Odisha. Candidates must take care of the entire counselling schedule to avoid missing any important day.
