IIT Delhi PG Admissions 2025 Notification

The official notification for IIT Delhi PG Admissions 2025 has been released on its online portal. Candidates must go through the entire PDF notification to learn about the complete details of IIT Delhi PG admission 2025-26 procedure. Further, the recent notice about the PG admissions in IIT Delhi states new registration dates for SC/ST candidates. Further, the registration of new PG students will begin from 19 to 20 July 2025. And, the commencement of PG classes will be from 24 July 2025. However, as per the latest notification, IIT Delhi PG admission 2025-26 registrations are open from 20 June 2025 to 30 June 2025.

IIT Delhi PG 2025 Admissions Counselling Process

Candidates who have applied for IIT Delhi PG Admission 2025-26 will be informed about their selection on IIT Delhi’s website. The Department Research Committee (DRC) / Centre Research Committee(CRC)/ School Research Committee (SRC) at IIT Delhi will analyse the eligibility of applicants. Applicants will be judged on the basis of their marks in their undergraduate/postgraduation course and percentile in the entrance examination. Further, an interview or group discussion for selection in IIT PG Delhi. 

IIT Delhi PG Admission Eligibility 2025

The general IIT Delhi PG Admission Eligibility for 2025-26 is specified as follows:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree for M.Tech, M.S., etc and postgraduation degree for PhD programmes

• At least 60% marks in a bachelor’s or master’s degree

• Valid score in CEED, JAM, GATE, and other related national-level entrance examinations

Note: It must be noted that Indian reservation norms apply for admissions in IIT Delhi. Therefore, candidates are advised to read the official admission prospectus carefully before applying.

IIT Delhi PG Admissions 2025 Application Fee

As per the official IIT Delhi website, the general category candidates are required to pay ₹200 to fill out IIT Delhi PG Admission Registration Form. The reserved category (SC/ST) candidates are required to pay a sum of ₹50 as registration fee. The IIT Delhi application fee for PG admissions is non-refundable in nature. Further, candidates are required to pay the registration fee online using a convenient payment portal.
